General Accountant - THE RIVUS Branded Residence

We are looking for General Accountant - The Rivus Branded Residence (Ho Chi Minh city)

Mission:

Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely financial reporting and month-end closing, monitoring budget performance, managing payables and receivables, and supporting effective financial control and compliance across the property.

What will you have to do?

• Operations Support: Assist the operations team with daily finance and accounting needs.
• Cost & Budget Control: Track expenses against the approved budget and work with the operations team to build future budgets.
• Bookkeeping & Month-end Closing: Coordinate with the Owner to record daily entries, reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, resolve discrepancies, and complete the month-end closing
• Accounts Payable & Receivables: Review supplier contracts, purchase requests, and payment documents for compliance with company policy and local laws. Follow up on customer invoices to ensure timely collection.
• Cash & Banks: Manage banking activities, including payment processing, bank approvals, account administration, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring

What are we looking for?

• LANGUAGES：

Vietnamese: Native speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

English: Good written and verbal communication skills.

• SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: 

  Knowledge of VAS, taxation, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
  Knowledge of financial reporting, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet account reconciliation.

  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems

  Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  High attention to detail and accuracy.

• WORK EXPERIENCE:                                                                                                                                                                        3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
