Job Description

Sol Tropikal Durres is looking for a professional and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service by handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries efficiently and courteously. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a warm, welcoming attitude to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services & Check-In/Out:

  • Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing necessary information about hotel services and policies.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Assist with luggage storage and other guest needs as required.

Reservations & Administrative Duties:

  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s booking system.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure proper billing procedures.
  • Process payments, issue room keys, and provide receipts as needed.
  • Answer phone calls and emails regarding reservations and general inquiries.

Hotel Operations & Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.
  • Assist in emergency situations by following hotel safety procedures and protocols.
  • Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Education & Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Customer service training or experience preferred.
