Job Description

Based on-site in the hotel, this position is a vital part of our Sales team. The Reservations Supervisor works closely with the Front Desk and Rooms Division Department to action enquiries and convert business. This position has responsibility for responding in a timely manner to individual and transient enquiries of the predetermined geographic markets, to maximize room and outlets revenue..

Main Activities:
- Ensure maximization of room sales and revenue for the hotel.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area.
- Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
- Advise Front Office Manager and team of any changes or trends relating to business.
- Adhere to all company credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received.
- Maintain and update Guest Profile and Marketing Database.
- Perform up selling whenever possible.
- Comply with all hotel policies relating to reservations.
- Comply with all systems and procedures and laid down by the Sales Director.
- Ensure that all reservations are recorded and other departments are involved & informed about the same.
- Ensure up-selling skills are utilized while making reservations.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed as per the hotel standards.
- Ensure that house rules are always followed.
- Perform all other tasks as requested by management
- Lead the reservations team considering all procedures and regulations.
- Strictly adhere to the Company's Policy on Confidentiality and Ethics.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Bachillerato/COU
Experience: De 1 a 2 años
Professional Category: Mando Intermedio
Residence Permit: Indiferente
Essential language: English - Professional

- 1 year of experience in a similar position within a 5-star hotel or chain portfolio.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) and not required but desirable, French.
- Proficient with computers and familiar with Hotel PMS (Tesipro/Ulyses)
- Be responsible for advance booking and reservations, handling guest inquiries, maintaining guest records and creating a favorable public image over the phone
- Highly motivated and passionate about your job.
- Willing to work under pressure to commit hotel and department targets.
