Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring quick resolution and guest satisfaction.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
Support to Team:
Assist the F&B Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring all standards are met.
Help oversee junior staff and assist with on-the-job training to maintain high service levels.
Ensure that all staff adhere to the hotel’s quality standards.
Order Management:
Ensure that all food and beverage orders are accurately communicated to the kitchen and bar, following up to ensure timely delivery.
Assist in organizing service flow during peak hours and special events, ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen, bar, and floor staff.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to fulfill special requests and dietary requirements.
Preparation and Setup:
Assist in setting up the restaurant before each service, including table settings, cleaning, and ensuring all supplies are ready for smooth operations.
Ensure that tables are clean, properly set, and well-organized at all times during service.
Inventory and Supplies:
Assist in managing the inventory, ensuring sufficient stock of tableware, beverages, etc.
Monitor supplies and work with the F&B manager to place orders as needed.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience as a Waiter or Senior Waiter, ideally in a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine dining establishment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
Solid knowledge of food and beverage service, with the ability to recommend and upsell items
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Team player with the ability to provide guidance and support to junior waitstaff
Fluent in Greek and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
