Mission: The Learning Associate will play a key role in promoting a culture of training and development at ME Lisbon. The main mission is to identify, coordinate, and implement learning initiatives across the hotel, ensuring the growth of internal talent and aligning training activities with the hotel’s strategic goals.

 

What You'll Have to Do?

 

  1. Coordinate the annual training plan: Identify training needs, organize programs (onboarding, legal compliance, service culture, etc.), and ensure execution within the allocated budget.
  2. Manage platforms and documentation: Promote the use of the e-Meliá platform, record activities in DIGITAL SPACE, and keep all face-to-face training documentation up to date.
  3. Collaborate with external providers: Coordinate training with external entities, ensuring alignment with Meliá standards and budget control.
  4. Support key HR processes: Assist with onboarding new employees, support pre-opening or rebranding training, and coordinate Personal Training Plans (PTP) and Job Training Plans (JTP).
  5. Drive talent development: Identify internal talent, promote development campaigns, and train department heads on talent management tools.
  6. Analyze and improve: Collect key metrics, monitor industry trends, and propose continuous improvements to training and development processes.
  7. Provide administrative support to the HR team when needed.

 

What We're Looking For?

 

  • Education: Degree in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position.
  • Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
  • Technical Knowledge: HR legislation and trends. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (preferred). Understanding of hotel operations and hospitality environments.
  • Personal Skills: Excellent communication and influencing skills. Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented. Ability to build genuine relationships at all levels of the organization. Positive, collaborative, and solution-focused mindset.
