POSITION SUMMARY
The doorman plays a key role in delivering an exceptional first impression to guest and visitors, providing a warm, professional, and brand-aligned welcome experience. This position combines hospitality excellence with a strong focus on preventive security, ensuring controlled and safe access to the property.
The role reports directly to the Security Department, with close coordination and daily interaction with the Rooms Division.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a warm, courteous, and professional welcome to all guest and visitors in accordance with brand standards.
• Act as a first point of contact, assisting guest with directions, basic information, and initial support upon arrival.
• Ensure controlled access to the property, identifying and monitoring guest, events and visitors.
• Support preventive security measures detecting and reporting any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with internal departments (front office, security, concierge, rooms) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist in managing guest flow at the entrance, maintaining order, discretion, and efficiency at all times.
• Uphold the hotel's luxury service standards, appearance guidelines, and professional conduct.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hotels or hospitality environments.
• Mandatory certification:
• Access Control License and/or Security Guard License.
• Basic spoken English level (demonstrable).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional presence, attention to detail, and customer-oriented mindset.
• Additional training or certifications in security or safety is a plus.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality environments is a plus.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
