If you’re ready to take your career to the next level and help us shape the future of RIU Plaza London The Westminster, explore our exciting opportunities today! 🔎 About the Role This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza London The Westminster as a Assistant Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be integral in proactively assisting the Chief Engineer to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations at our hotel premises. The role includes ensuring the building and facilities are safe, functional, and appealing to guests. 💼 What You’ll Do • Together with the Chief Engineer, you will plan and carry out short, medium and long-term maintenance programmes. • Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate their daily duties. • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and resolve issues. • Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs. • Coordinate with hotel management and Chief Engineer to set maintenance goals. • Handle emergency problems such as plumbing, electrical, or HVAC malfunctions and coordinate repairs. • Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed to reduce risks and accidents. • Oversee renovation and repair projects from start to completion. • Work with the Chief Engineer to manage the maintenance budget. • Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, inventory control, and scheduling. • Train maintenance team members and ensure they are up-to-date with the latest techniques and procedures. ✔️ What We’re Looking For • Ability to collaborate with other departments like housekeeping, reception, and F&B to ensure smooth service. • Excellent communication skills for both internal staff and guest interactions. • Team player. • Ability to work under pressure. 💸 Compensation & Benefits A welcoming and supportive work environment where you will be shaping the future of RIU Plaza London Westminster enjoying the following compensation & benefits: • Gross salary: Competitive • Full time contract: 40 hours • Annual leave: 30 days per year (Including public holidays). • Birthday is for celebrating, so have the day off on us! • Free meals while on duty. • Pension Scheme. • Enhanced Maternity and Paternity pay. • Comprehensive training and development programs to enhance your skills and foster professional growth. • Take advantage of attractive discounts on accommodations within the RIU Hotels & Resorts, allowing you to explore and experience our exceptional properties worldwide. 🌟 Why RIU Hotels & Resorts? • Your Growth is Our Priority: At RIU Hotels & Resorts, we believe in nurturing talent from within.
