What will you have to do?
• Managing the entire recruitment process from job postings to onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Overseeing performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans.
• Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Administering employee benefits, managing payroll, and conducting salary reviews.
• Creating and updating HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Identifying training needs, developing training programs, and facilitating employee development.
• Developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's overall goals.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
• Implementing strategies to improve employee morale and engagement.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees at all levels.
• Need to be able to identify and resolve a wide range of HR-related issues.
• A strong understanding of employment law is crucial for compliance
• Able to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals.
• Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts effectively is essential.
• Prior relevant experience required within a union and non-union environment
• HR certification strongly preferred; Bi-lingual communication is preferred.
