Spa Manager

What will be your mission? 
The Director Spa and Wellness Europe • Will lead the SPA and Wellness business across all the luxury properties in Europe and Americas, having the responsibility of setting the business strategy in the geographies under scope, in conjunction with the SVP Luxury Hotels, and then, to lead the implementation of that strategy, including accountability for the overall performance of spas within the region. • Be responsible for the design, development and implementation of all wellness related activities as part of the new builds pipeline across the Luxury Hotels portfolio.   What will you do? 
As the lead of the spa business across all the luxury properties in Europe and the Americas the key responsibilities will be: • Regional Operations Leadership. Set and define the business strategy of the spas  of the luxury properties in the geographies under the area of scope, overseeing the performance of the individual spas to maximize revenue and profit, deliver the brand promise operationally, and look after our people. • Partner Relationship Management. Work with the GMs to ensure that their hotels and spas are working together constructively and collaboratively. Maintain a positive relationship with the hotel management, and also the Ownership interests. • New Openings. Coordinate all activities for the on-time, on-brand and on-budget opening of new spas within the scope area. • Team Leadership and Management. Develop the Spa Managers of the individual units to be able to fully perform the role of a Spa Manager. Contribute to the performance management and career planning for managers and team member within the area of scope. • Holistic Wellness. Being responsible for the development and implementation of holistic wellness programs across all hotels, including medical spa and alternative healing therapies and understanding the impact of nutritional programs on overall wellness offering and integration of this into the hotel's day to day operation, having the ability to implement meaningful wellness experiences at key guest touchpoints outside of the spa, including but not limited to Food and Beverage and Rooms.                                                                                            • Strong Financial and Business Acumen. Being able to clearly articulate business opportunities with relevant ROI's for Spa and Wellness Operation. • Develop and implement robust plans to improve financial performance of the business across all spa and wellness touchpoints. What are we looking for? 
Experience: • 5-10 years in spa management with at least 3 in operational leadership responsibility for multi-unit spas. • At least 3 years of experience in having responsibility for sourcing and negotiating new spa management agreements on behalf of a spa operations management company. Experience of developing and working with visiting practitioner programs. Preferred skills: • Clear knowledge of current and upcoming spa and wellness trends and the ability to communicate how these can be implemented into hotels across multiple geographies. • Financial management skills including the ability to analyze financial results, develop operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning • Project management and spa planning skills • Marketing and Selling skills: Being able to put together a comprehensive marketing & sales plan for the areas of scope. • Ability to manage customer preference, loyalty, and satisfaction. • Ability to network and build relationships to grow the business. • Ability to exercise flexibility rather than rigid adherence to procedures to accomplish goals.
