Asistente GEX - Guest Experience Assistant
ME Lisbon is a luxury hotel that is part of the prestigious Meliá Hotels International chain. Located in the heart of Lisbon, our hotel offers a unique and sophisticated experience, combining avant-garde design with exceptional service for our guests. Mission: The Doorman is responsible for assisting guests upon arrival, during their stay, and at departure, while upholding the brand's service standards. This position is essential for ensuring a warm welcome and farewell, enhancing the overall guest experience. What will you have to do?
• Welcome and farewell guests: Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and farewell according to brand standards, assisting with car doors, hotel doors, and elevators.
• Assist with transportation needs: Help guests secure taxi service and ensure the hotel entrance is staffed at all times.
• Provide information: Offer guests information on points of interest, nearby areas, hotel services, and exits, ensuring they are well-informed throughout their stay.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization: Keep the hotel entrance and lobby clean and organized, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns: Respond to any guest complaints or concerns, communicating actions taken and escalating issues if necessary.
What are we looking for?
• Education: Training in hospitality or tourism. Courses in safety or first aid may be valued.
• Languages: Portuguese. Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
• Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of hotel operations, service-oriented attitude, customer service techniques, access control and evacuation procedures, communication skills, and basic first aid knowledge.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
