We're Looking for a Line Cook!
Responsibilities:
As a Line cook, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience. Your main duties will include
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in a hotel or high-volume fine dinner service.
• Experience in Grill and Cold food.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Schedule: This position requires fully availability during mornings and afternoons, shift of 8 hours could be arranged between 6:00 am to 12:00 am, weekends required.
Work Location: Miami South Beach, FL.
Physical Demands: This position requires prolonged periods of standing and the ability to safely handle sharp tools, hot surfaces, and various kitchen equipment. Candidates must be able to lift and carry items weighing 15 pounds or more and work in environments with varying temperatures, including hot ovens, humid kitchen areas, and refrigerated spaces.
Work Authorization: Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
FSLA Classification: Non-exempt
