En el InterContinental Barcelona, buscamos un Steward para unirse a nuestro personal de cocina y mantener la limpieza en nuestra cocinas y restaurantes. Las responsabilidades del steward incluyen: · Recoger los utensilios de cocina usados de las zonas del comedor y la cocina. · Cargar y descargar los lavavajillas. · Fregar artículos específicos a mano (p. ej. tablas de cortar de madera, cazuelas grandes y porcelana delicada). · Almacenar los platos, vasos y equipo limpios de forma adecuada para minimizar la rotura. · Organizar las estaciones de trabajo antes de que se empiece a preparar la comida. · Asegurarse de que siempre haya suficientes platos, vasos y utensilios limpios para cada servicio. · Tener preparados tanto la vajilla como los montajes de buffet para los diferentes eventos. · Mantener existencias de productos de limpieza (p. ej. detergentes) y hacer pedidos cuando sea necesario. · Comprobar el funcionamiento de los lavavajillas e informar con rapidez de cualquier problema técnico/de rendimiento. · Sacar la basura regularmente. · Desinfectar la zona de la cocina, incluido el suelo. · Montar el buffet de personal en el horario indicado.
