If you answered yes to all of the above then you are a perfect candidate for Junior Customer Service Chef!
#1 Guest support via email and telephone, which includes:
answering questions about Taste Porto’s products;
helping guests with suggestions about Porto;
local partners reservations management;
assisting our guests with the tour start logistics;
and, essentially, helping our guests fall in love with Porto in any way, shape or form!
#2 Assisting the management of the booking system for the whole company;
#3 Respond to customer reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp;
#4 Being the first line of interaction with non-guest inquiries, which could include:
Potential partnership requests;
Bloggers;
Media inquiries;
And more!
#4 And all sorts of random bits like booking restaurants for our guests to many more things.
Getting excited? Great! Here are the essentials:
Excellent written and spoken English – the majority of our guests are native English speakers so this is an absolute necessity!
Being fluent in Portuguese is mandatory;
A love for Porto and its food – our team is made up of totally different backgrounds, but the common denominator is this love;
Must reside in Porto;
Experience in customer service situations, specifically written or telephone support is an advantage;
A willingness to go the extra mile, give more information, and ensure guest satisfaction at every turn – we are unwavering in our belief in exceptional customer service.
