About the job Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, within the Food & Beverage Department, the Bartender is responsible for delivering an exceptional beverage experience to our guests by preparing and serving high-quality cocktails and beverages with professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail. The Bartender reports to the Bar Manager / Outlet Manager. As Bartender, you will be responsible for the following duties: • Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages following Mandarin Oriental standards. • Provide warm, professional, and personalised service to all guests. • Maintain excellent product knowledge, including drinks menus, ingredients, and preparation techniques. • Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times. • Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and courteously. • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. • Work closely with the bar and F&B team to ensure smooth operations. • Contribute ideas for cocktail creativity and menu development when required. As Bartender, we expect from you: • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Passion for mixology and beverage service. • Excellent knowledge of bar products and techniques. • Highly responsible, reliable, and well-organised. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Team player with the ability to work in a multicultural setting. • Strong guest-oriented mindset, always calm and courteous. • Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or high-end bar. • English language proficiency (additional languages are a plus).
