Hospitality Purchasing Manager
We are seeking an organized and experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of food, beverages, equipment, and hotel supplies while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the purchasing process in line with hotel standards and budgets.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain quotations and ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Purchase food, beverages, operating supplies, equipment, and other hotel requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, purchase orders, and deliveries.
• Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Coordinate with Finance, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Stores, and other departments.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier contracts, and product specifications.
• Support cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
• Resolve supplier issues, delivery delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HACCP, and local regulations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, minimize waste, and improve purchasing efficiency.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or Procurement professional, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food, beverage, hotel supplies, and procurement procedures.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory and purchasing systems.
• Good understanding of budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Relevant degree or certification in Procurement, Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
