What’s the Job?
Every memorable event starts with exceptional planning. As an Events Coordinator, you’ll be the trusted point of contact for our clients, bringing their vision to life and ensuring every detail is seamlessly delivered.
From the first enquiry to the final farewell, you’ll coordinate guest rooms, meeting spaces, food and beverage, and personalised services, creating exceptional experiences while maximising guest satisfaction and commercial performance.
Your Day-to-Day
- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable Club InterContinental experience.
- Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and share ways to enhance their stay.
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out experiences — verifying IDs, issuing keys, and managing safety deposit boxes.
- Stay one step ahead of guest needs — record and act on preferences, and handle messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Be a trusted and discreet point of contact for all Club guests, resolving any issue with empathy and efficiency, and escalating when needed.
- Take ownership of guest complaints and ensure resolutions exceed expectations.
- Maintain full awareness of daily events, VIP arrivals, and special occasions, ensuring personalized touches throughout the stay.
- Ensure the Club InterContinental Lounge and Front Desk areas are always immaculate and inviting.
- Occasionally perform waiter duties during Club Lounge shifts, providing seamless service and continuity of experience.
