As a member of the Engineering team, you will work closely with the hotel team for any maintenance issues. You will be committed to maintaining a fully functioning and efficient hotel environment - with the emphasis on forward planning, routine maintenance programmes and prompt repairs. The Rooms Technician's main role is: to carry out preventative maintenance in guest rooms, guest corridors, and public areas; to carry out emergency maintenance tasks in occupied rooms as requested; to maintain Engineering areas in a safe and clean state and to assist all other Engineering Team members in carrying out engineering related tasks.

Requirements Previous experience in relevant maintenance/engineering operations is desirable. Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical and carpentry is a must. Candidates must have excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Additional languages a plus. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK & must be in possession of the relevant passports or visas. Must have the drive and passion to succeed at the highest level in order to ensure InterContinental London Park Lane becomes a renowned establishment. All applicants must be able to work varying shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
