The Hotel Director is manager and head of the good organization and overall management of the establishment in order to achieve the goals set out by the Central Office. Therefore it will be a person visible both to customers and employees, and will take an active part in the commercialisation at a local level by making recommendations to the Revenue Manager about the recruitment and best suited commercialisation to the hotel.
The Director will constitute an example that should be emulated by all employees who comprise the hotel, both at a professional and human level; therefore would be a person that communicates regularly with all staff so as to brief them on the management of the hotel.

Managing sales channels to ensure "best available price"
PR for hotel guests
Management and staff training
Prepare and lead meetings with department heads of the Hotel
Prepare and lead meetings with all staff
Assessment and monitoring of the level of customer satisfaction
Management of complaints
Carry out budgets
Approval of all purchases requests
Interviewing for the selection of new candidates
Cover DoD (Director on Duty) those weekends stipulated by the company
Performing commercial visits at a local level
Managing human and material resources
Evaluation of customer satisfaction
Coordination with other departments
Sales (of rooms or services)
Administrative (reports, etc.)
Titulación mínima: Licenciado Experiencia: De 3 a 5 años Categoría profesional: Executive Residencia: Provincia vacante
Director at other hotels with personalized attention preferably 3 years
Positions in businesses related to hotels or tourism 3 years
Tourism Diploma or Bachelors Degree.
Masters or training courses related to hotels and tourism.
Knowledge of Prestige / Opera (own management program) Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
Spanish and English essential. A third language depending on the hotel where the candidate works (eg German, French). Any other languages will be appreciated (eg Japanese, Italian).
Knowledge of hotel management programs (eg Micros-Fidelio, Medallion, etc..)
Domain software such as Word, Excel, and Access.
- Previous experience in international luxury hotels or a multinational chain.
- Working knowledge of the environment where this hotel work and its people.
