Descripción de la oferta

The purpose of this department is to process travel reservations through a computerized reservations system for passengers staying in Europe while working closely with hotels, sightseeing suppliers and transfer companies. Position will involve a concierge style service of researching and negotiating pricing and conditions for specialized sightseeing products and ensuring the logistics work within the customer travel itinerary. At times the position will also involve the operating of small group tours around Europe.

Position requires a high level of customer service as the individual will be expected to assist passengers while they are travelling within Europe.

Major Areas of Responsibility
• Assisting passengers with any travel issues while they are in Europe, which can involve booking an alternative property for them or any other issues
• Researching of special sightseeing tours within Europe and planning logistics
• Negotiating rates for special ad hoc transfer, sightseeing and hotel requests
• Setting up pricing for special products for the USA sales team
• Processing individual bookings through the company reservations system
• Updating hotel inventory in the system
• Communicating with hotels in Europe on a daily basis assisting with queries and placing bookings
• Communicating with the head office in the USA, with prompt replies to emails and phone calls
• Working closely with the contracting team and alerting them to hotel issues such as limited availability
• Working closely with the Group Operations team in assisting with operations of small group tour requests both for sightseeing and hotels, negotiating rates and confirming suppliers
• Working with Accounting and reservations to make sure one-off bookings are paid and confirmed correctly
• Serve as on call emergency contact during weekday after office hours as needed
• Other duties as assigned


Titulación mínima: Diplomado
Experiencia: De 2 a 3 años
Categoría profesional: Empleado
Residencia: España

• Ability to communicate effectively and productively with multiple nationalities
• Knowledge of operations of tours and logistics around Europe would be an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken English (additional language skills are an advantage)
• Capacity to work with a computerized operations system
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Passionate about providing excellent customer experience
• Ability to use reason and good judgement
• Ability to use creative skills to suggest new itinerary ideas to clients
• Intermediate Knowledge of MS Office products and excel
• Detail orientated and superior organizational skills
