You’ll execute strategic sales actions aligned with the hotel’s Business Plan, ensuring revenue growth and brand visibility 🌟. Your work will directly contribute to the hotel’s positioning as a leading destination in the region 🏨.💼 What You Will Do
• 🧠 Strategic Planning & Budgeting
• Collaborate in preparing budgets and the hotel’s Business Plan.
• Participate in strategic planning to align sales efforts with business goals.
• 🤝 Account Management & Development
• Manage and grow local accounts, coordinate with Account Managers, and identify new business opportunities.
• Promote Meliá’s global programs like MeliáPro Rewards and TravelLabs.
• 📑 Sales Execution & Negotiation
• Implement the sales action plan to exceed targets.
• Lead negotiations for Corporate RFPs, MICE agreements, and contracts.
• 🌍 Market Expansion & Visibility
• Prospect new markets and collaborate with tourism organizations and DMCs.
• Represent the hotel in professional forums, events, and promotional activities.
• 💬 Customer Relationship Management
• Be the main point of contact for account incidents, ensuring resolution and satisfaction.
• Coordinate site inspections, Fam Trips, and virtual sales actions.
• 📊 Reporting & Coordination
• Prepare reports for Business Reviews.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
🛡️ Health & Safety / Healthy Workplace
• 📋 Be familiar with the hotel’s evacuation plan.
• 🧯 Support responsibilities in the Centre's Self-Protection Manual or local equivalent.
• ✅ Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
• 🦺 Know and promote the use of personal protective equipment through training.
• 📘 Take on responsibilities assigned in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System Manual.
🌱 Sustainability
• 💧 Monitor energy and water consumption for accurate charging (if applicable).
• 🌿 Highlight sustainable attributes in customer interactions (as guided by Marketing & Branding).
• 📢 Ensure sustainability communication is truthful, rigorous, and coherent.
🔍 What We Are Looking For🎓 Education & Training
• Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business.
🗣️ Languages
• Advanced English.
• Local language is a plus.
💡 Specific Knowledge
• Understanding of M&E hotel operations.
• User-level experience with FOCUS, OPERA, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with luxury services.
• Key competencies: Client Vision, Results & Customer Orientation, Change Management.
📆 Experience
• Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in cluster environments.
