Mission
To prepare high‑quality pizzas and related Italian dishes following authentic techniques and established recipes. The Pizzaiolo ensures consistency, speed, and cleanliness while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
What will you have to do?
• Prepare, stretch, and bake pizza dough using traditional and modern techniques.
• Produce pizzas according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Manage the pizza oven (wood‑fired or electric), ensuring proper temperature and cooking times.
• Prepare ingredients such as sauces, toppings, and garnishes daily, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Ensure the workstation, equipment, and tools are clean, sanitized, and well‑organized.
• Monitor inventory of pizza ingredients and report shortages or needs to the Chef.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food‑handling procedures according to hotel and HACCP standards.
• Support kitchen colleagues during service to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with the Chef on menu improvements, new recipes, and seasonal offerings.
What we are looking for?
• Previous experience as a Pizzaiolo in a hotel or restaurant environment (required).
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques.
• Ability to work with wood‑fired and/or electric pizza ovens.
• Good understanding of Italian cuisine and pizza‑related products.
• Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for high‑quality cooking.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage;
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
