Mission: As a Commercial Trainee, you will support the Commercial Department in both operational and administrative activities, contributing to the efficient execution of Sales, Events, and Reservations processes. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in the luxury hospitality industry, develop commercial and analytical skills, and build a strong understanding of hotel operations through collaboration with multiple departments and client-facing activities.
What will you do?
• Support the Commercial Department (Sales, Events & Reservations) in daily administrative and operational activities, gaining exposure to hospitality commercial processes and procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and basic data analysis to support the team's commercial objectives and performance monitoring.
• Help maintain and update CRM databases, client records, and commercial systems, ensuring data accuracy and organization.
• Provide support in the coordination of group bookings, corporate reservations, meetings, and events, while liaising with internal departments when required.
• Assist in the preparation of commercial proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documentation under the guidance of the department team.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team on client engagement activities, site inspections, promotional initiatives, and business development projects, while developing a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality industry
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken); additional languages will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams). Knowledge of Opera Cloud, Sihot, CRM platforms, or other hotel management systems is a plus.
• No previous professional experience is required; however, relevant internships, academic projects, extracurricular activities, or hospitality-related experience will be valued.
