Responsibilities
In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all guest experience tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.
I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:
• Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
• Assist with the setup and smooth running of daily operations at the spa reception, maintaining Six Senses Spa standards.
• Ensure the reception area and spa front of house are clean, organized, and presentable always.
• Make, reconfirm, and verify guest bookings, including appointment scheduling for upcoming days.
• Manage guest profiles meticulously, ensuring accuracy and avoiding duplication.
• Escort guests to their designated areas, explaining the guest journey and enhancing their experience.
• Address guest complaints promptly, logging guest comments and feedback for improvement.
• Answer phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Serve welcome drinks or other menu offerings to guests as required.
• Provide courteous, prompt, and accurate service to all guests.
• Offer retail products appropriately to guests, ensuring the retail area is set up according to standards.
• Log all product recommendations and upsell spa, fitness, and wellness activities to enhance guest experiences.
• Assist with stock counts for retail and professional items when required.
• Prepare and process guest bills accurately.
• Maintain proper documentation by filling out controls, reports, and relevant forms during shifts.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in spa areas, including common spaces and wet areas.
• Replace towels and amenities as needed to maintain operational standards.
• Monitor and report any lost and found items, guest incidents, or equipment issues to management or designated team.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required by supervisors.
• Assist management with any additional tasks as needed to support the spa team and operations.
• Maintain and uphold Six Senses operational and service guidelines, exceeding performance benchmarks and adhering to LQA standards.
Qualification
To execute the position of SPA GSA, I confirm that I have the required qualifications>
• I have least two years’ experience in a similar or higher role within luxury spas and health clubs, supported by proven certifications and diplomas.
• I am a personally involved, visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills, an intuitive sense of product and service quality, and a strong passion for excellence.
• I have a clear understanding of the sophisticated needs of luxury customers and proven experience working positively in a cross-cultural environment.
• My technical skills include MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• I consistently keep myself updated on the latest trends in fitness and wellness.
• I have an excellent command of written and spoken English, along with knowledge of the local language and customs.
• I am committed to maintaining a thorough understanding of Six Senses, including its guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
