We are looking for a passionate, pro-active communicator with insight and vision to fill the role of Revenue Manager at our exciting new 700 bed property in the City Centre.

What you will be doing…

Management
• Achieve and where possible exceed the monthly and annual budgets
• Maintain constant monitoring of Group Reservations and enquiry handling with particular emphasis on Group Conversion and delivery of budgetary targets
• Enthusiastically nurture relations with internet partners
• Effectively yield and manage all revenue channels to ensure maximising of sales with the focus on: Managing allocations, free sale and over bookings for the Barcelona Hoste & Hotell
• Effectively communicate with the Group Revenue team with regards to Sales and Revenue and forecasting of the weekly business
• Effectively manage all channels with a view to optimising net return.

Market Segmentation
• To produce benchmarking performance and other reports
• Track competitor trends and pricing strategies
• To keep the revenue team engage and motivated to implement those rate and strategy recommendations

Pricing and Inventory Management
• To optimise event dates with pricing campaigns and effective yield strategies
• To continue to develop and improve analysis/reports as a tool for yield management
• To control inventory and best to price or allocate capacity
• To react to strategy changes and to ensure we identify peaks and troughs in a timely manor
• To analyse regional, seasonal and competitive influences

Requisitos
What you will need…
• Have a sense of humour, be fun, be approachable and have a low ego
• Be fluent in English and Spanish
• Be able to demonstrate a significant amount of revenue management experience in a hotel/hostel revenue management role
• Have strong revenue techniques and ability to influence
• Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• To have a good understanding of the accommodation market
• Be able to demonstrate a strong track record in development of new business
• Be able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to finding and closing business
• Have resilient negotiation skills
• Have the ability to communicate effortlessly at all levels
• Be IT self sufficient with knowledge of Excel, , PowerPoint and Word , SIHOT experience also an advantage.
• Be willing to travel across the business area which may include nights away from home

Titulación mínima : Diplomado
Experiencia : 2 a 3 años
Residencia : Provincia vacante
