Looking for a new job? If so, we have fantastic opportunities to work in our bustling Barcelona European Hub Center .
American Express Barceló Viajes is a travel management company that is looking for talented people with multiple language skills. In particular we are looking for travel professionals who are native in German.
Our typical Business Travel Consultant roles would involve :
- Full end to end Business Travel bookings including Air, Hotel and Rail which leverages our preferred supplier network to maximize the spend of our customers
- Follow the predefined procedures dictated by both the client and by American Express, ensuring all bookings are compliant with these policies.
- Working closely with preferred supplier and their renegotiated rates applying them effectively to each reservation.
- Ensure service consistency and liaising with the client . This includes escalation and resolution of any service related issues.

Requisitos
What we look for to be a part of the new teams is:
- Native or high level of German
- Excellent communication skills (both phone & e-mail) & ability to interact with high value customers
- Ability to identify customer requirements & to match these to appropriate products & services
- IT literate, you will need to be able to understand and use internet search sites and e-mail in addition to the GDS (AMADEUS).
- Research/information gathering and problem solving skills
- Time management skills – prioritizing and responding promptly to customer calls and requests
- Ability to cross-sell with relevance additional travel & concierge ancillaries and card member benefits i.e. lounges / car hire.
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team where required
- Ability to work in a goal oriented service environment (both sales & service goals)
- Previous travel industry experience is essential ideally within the luxury travel arena
- Previous customer service and call centre experience preferable
- Good knowledge of travel geography and destinations around the world
- A second language would be an advantage but not essential, either English, Spanish, Freanch, etc.
Candidate should be comfortable with rotating shifts.
