GCCL ships have a capacity from 46 to 216 passengers, served by 14 to 104 employees depending on the ship and region. We do serve exclusively American travelers.

For our ship teams we are looking for flexible, open minded and passionate JUNIOR SOUS CHEF:

Responsibilities:

 Food handling and preparation as per company menu cycle and under the supervision of the designated Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef
 Supervise all level of cooks to ensure proper skills
 Assist in inventory and order taking
 Replacement of Executive Sous Chef during absence
 Organize and prepare mise en place
 Ability to operate common kitchen equipment
 Cleaning procedure as per HACCP

Requirements


 Minimum four years of cook experience, preferably in a four or five star restaurant, hotel or resort
 Management and leading skills
 Cruise ship experience is a plus
 Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn
 Excellent communication skills and very good command of the English language
 Culinary or hotel school degree
